Renewing RSF
Thank you for your continued interest in Philanthropy International. With our commitment to the March of Dimes, and future national charities, we have a need to expand our field force of Charitable Planning Specialists and Advisor Members across the country. With our existing Regional Support Firms we have 22 states covered, but many without adequate coverage. It is our desire to exhaust our efforts within The Guardian before approaching an outside enterprise organization to supplement our existing efforts.
To ensure your position in your state, be sure to review the RSF requirements and complete the RSF application so we can indicate on our records the area that you cover.
RSF Application & Requirements

Dear General Agent,
Since October I have personally spoken with numerous Guardian General Agents who have used Philanthropy International and our charitable planning concepts to successfully recruit new, experienced field reps to their firm. I also have spoken with one of our charitable planning specialists who has written quite a few cases using concepts such as a CLUT and a NIMCRUT that have resulted in nearly $1 million in premium for their firm.
I know many of you are aware of Philanthropy International and have wondered how your agency would benefit from our advisor program, known as the National Charity Council.
In the brochure link below you can read how you, as a general agency, can become a Regional Support Firm with Philanthropy International. We know that as a Guardian General Agent, you are responsible for recruiting quality and productive field representatives. A relationship with Philanthropy International can help you achieve this goal using our enterprise model that rewards career agents with a unique marketing niche.
You also are concerned with production and training. The advanced training that Philanthropy International provides at conferences and via web technology can set your agents apart. It will provide them with valuable tools to increase their production. One GA who attended our October 2007 conference in Washington, DC stated “we now have a charitable planning study group of 9 people from our firm that meet regularly to discuss cases and learn together. This wouldn’t have happened without the energy and excitement from Philanthropy International”.
Today, we are specifically looking for agencies in certain states, so we can ensure representation for our national charities. On page three of the brochure (link below) you will find the states where we are recruiting agencies more aggressively.
We feel so strongly about our ability to deliver, we’d like to invite you to attend an upcoming webinar on February 12th.You will discover how your firm can capitalize on this unique offer and provide a profitable marketing niche for your FRs. You should already have received the information needed to log into the webinar.
We would also encourage you to pass on information about this program to the top three to five FRs in your office who may be interested in pursuing this type of marketing. We are looking for individuals who are beyond the initial stages of growing their business and are now looking to add more significance.
Thank you so very much for supporting this cause as we try to serve charities across the nation in “reinventing planned giving”. If you have any questions at all, feel free to contact our office at (909) 625-4511. We would be happy to talk with you about your interest and answer any questions you may have.
Graciously,

Tracy J. Haraksin
Executive Director
