What is a Charitable Planning Specialist?

A Charitable Planning Specialist is an experienced financial advisor with a passion for charitable causes.

Desiring the greater good they have dedicated a portion of their business to serving as a volunteer planned giving officer for charitable organizations. They are philanthropic in nature and have experience in charitable and estate planning.

These individuals volunteer on behalf of a charity to work educating their donors  on charitable strategies.

Each Charitable Planning Specialist must complete an application process to be considered a part of the Partner Charity Council. The application process evaluates the individual’s professional experience, history working with charities, professional references, and their ethical commitment.

Once they fulfill the application process they commit to an ongoing educational track provided by the Advanced Practice Network to expand their know in the intricacies of advanced charitable and estate planning, as well as how to implement a marketing strategy for a local charity.

“The act of philanthropy is a spiritual act, an expression of caring for one's fellow human beings. It is a belief in the future and that the future can be good. It is investing in that future. It is helping to make the dream come true.”
